‘Independent Living’ is an option designed keeping in mind people who like to lead an active social life and are able to do most of their tasks themselves without any grave discomfort and only need some help from the support staff.

‘Assisted Living’ is for those who are in need of additional medical support, such as nursing and care attendants. They help the residents in the routine tasks like bathing, feeding etc., and take care of their hygiene and general well-being.
Each private room has an attached room as well as a private or a shared balcony. Each room is fully furnished and is equipped with a queen size bed, a side table, a personal study table with a chair. All the modern amenities are provided in the room; these include Television, Wi-Fi connectivity, Air Conditioners, room and water heaters.

All the rooms and Sloah Senior Care premises have been refurbished taking into consideration the needs of seniors. The walls are furnished with hand rails and the bathrooms are equipped with anti- skid mats so to avoid any mis-happening to the seniors.
Sloah Senior Care has shared common areas like Library, Gymnasium, Temple, Terrace Garden, and Drawing Areas among others. Activities are planned for seniors like art classes, group yoga and movies. These provide residents with an opportunity to interact with each other and rejuvenate them. These common amenities promote social connections among residents, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared experiences.
We do not allow family members to stay with the resident, keeping in mind the resident welfare and security. The residents, however, are allowed to go out and stay with their family members at any time.
The Sloah Philosophy believes in encouraging the seniors to stay connected with their loved ones. Keeping this in mind, Sloah has kept their doors open for the family members to meet the residents during the regular working hours. As a security measure, the visits have to be pre-informed by the family members.
Yes, but not necessarily. Initially, as a resident moves in with us at Sloah Senior Care, they may opt for “Independent Living”. The amount of assisted care they require in the beginning may be minimal but as their age progresses over time, their health might also deteriorate. This may increase the care they need for themselves. This change in care will reflect in the change of care plans opted by the seniors. Our team at Sloah Senior Care believes in providing holistic care to the seniors. The healthcare team is inclusive of a panel of various super-specialist doctors, resident doctor who attends of all the medical needs of the residents and additional support staff.

Care

Care at Sloah Senior Care is designed kept in mind the general requirements of the residents. The
care plans include assisted living, nursing care, palliative care, and recovery and rehabilitation of
seniors who are in need of continuous care and assistance. These care include:

  • 24x7 care attendants
  • Medication management
  • Emergency medical response procedures
  • Full ADL support (bathing , feeding, grooming and help with other daily activities)
  • Daily reporting of vitals and check on health of each resident.
  • Home-cooked nutritious meals keeping in mind individual needs and restrictions
  • Full housekeeping (including cleaning and laundry)
  • Daily activities like music, games, yoga, group physiotherapy and other social outings and events
Each resident is provided with an intercom connection/ mobile device through which the resident can call the medical staff in case of any emergency. The healthcare team is out for routine checks throughout the day. In case of any emergency, the general medical assistant will reach the resident’s room within minutes and provide preliminary medical assistance will further contact the super-specialist doctor and will take necessary actions.
At regular intervals placement agency, In-charge of human resources and head of medical unit gives training to all staff to ensure highest efficacy.
Yes, a resident can personalise their room as long as no changes in the basic structure of the room are made.

Admission & Cancellation

We have offer different accommodation and the rents and security deposit are calculated based on the type of accommodation you have opted for. The security deposit is one time deposit which is kept for medical emergencies and is 100% refundable.
The admission process at Sloah Senior Care involves an assessment of the resident’s needs and a review of their medical history. The choice of room and the amount of care needed by the residents is decided based on above factors and accordingly the admission is confirmed. We generate an invoice on the 1 st of every month and one is expected to make an advance payment for the month within a week.

The responsible person can make a payment through any of the following:
Cheque, NEFT, Cash Deposit in our bank account, Draft
We do not allow the residents to carry cash/jewellery/ or any other expensive items with them.

This expenses account is maintained separately from Sloah Senior Care. The miscellaneous expenses that a resident may have regarding their medicines, snacks, diapers, etc are credited to this account after the end of each month.
We at Sloah Senior Care make every possible effort to ensure that all issues that a resident may have are resolved at the earliest. We encourage such inputs as they make our services better and make our home comfortable to all residents. However, even after our efforts fail to satisfy our residents and they wish to move out, they are requested to lodge a request and serve the notice period as per their contract. The final settlement of bills will be done within 30 working days.
In case of an unfortunate event of a death, the rent will be charged only till the time the resident was alive and notice period will be expected. The final settlement of bills will be done within 30 working days.

Food

The food provided at Sloah Senior Care is planned keeping in mind the health and dietary practices of the residents. We serve nutritious Indian food in our meals. These include food during breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The meals are often customised according the needs of the resident. We strive to provide a variety of dishes in our meals but if a resident wishes to have something extra which has to be prepared by the kitchen team specifically for the resident then it is billed separately. Any particular item (food/ juices/ fruit) procured especially for a resident is also billed separately.
